Work Schedule:
100% FTE, day/evening shift. Operational hours of the Pediatric Cath Lab/EP lab are 6:00am to 7:00pm. On-call responsibilities for off hours, weekends and holidays with one-hour response time. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered. Hours may vary depending on department need. You will work primarily at American Family Children's Hospital (AFCH) with cross-coverage at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse:
- Be an integral member of a talented multidisciplinary team working together to deliver quality care to primarily pediatric patients, from neonatal to young adulthood, undergoing cardiovascular procedures and diagnostic cardiac catheterization in our hybrid cath lab at the nationally known American Family Children's Hospital (AFCH).
- You will also be crossed trained and work in our main cardiac cath lab/EP lab at University Hospital caring for a wide range of patients from young adult to geriatric.
- Practice in an environment that focuses on patient and family centered care.
- Be highly engaged in acquiring new skills and integrating evidence-based nursing practices into the unit culture.
- Encouraged to participate in shared governance, with a unit-based council, to help support and drive quality improvement initiatives and lead practice change.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
Work Experience
- Inpatient Units and Central Float (Adult & Pediatric), Venous Access Team (VAT), Radiology, Hemodialysis, Cardiovascular Laboratory: Six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health's Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit. Required
- eICU: Two (2) years of nursing experience Required
- Relevant RN Experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Upon Hire Required
- Current CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required
- ACLS within 6 months Required
- Relevant certification Preferred
