San Jose, California, United States Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company About This Role: This role will enable our Risk Management Team (Strategy/Policy, Data Scientist, and Operations teams) to achieve their best work. We are seeking a dynamic individual who can seamlessly blend the roles of an Executive Assistant and a Staff Program Manager. This role is critical to our success, requiring a professional who can manage high-level executive support while also leading and executing strategic projects with minimal direction. Position Overview: The Staff Program Manager will play a pivotal role in both supporting the Executive and driving key initiatives within the business unit. This role demands a proactive, organized, and strategic thinker who can manage the Executives administrative needs while also standing up and running programs that drive our team and business forward. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cross functional processes, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment. Executive Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executive, including managing the executives calendar, scheduling appointments, and prioritizing sensitive matters. Organize and coordinate meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and arranging catering when necessary. Act as a liaison between the Executive and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and follow-up on key issues. Program Management: Lead and manage strategic projects and programs with minimal direction, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving operational efficiencies. Stand up and implement a talent management framework to support the growth and development of the team. Develop and establish an operational model that enables inspection, coaching, and continuous improvement. Oversee the business units budget, including financial planning, capitalization, talent allocation, and technology investments and prioritizations. Delegate access and ensure financial planning is conducted well in advance. Monitor project progress, track results, and address challenges by regularly meeting with key stakeholders to ensure commitments and priorities are met. Nurture team culture by establishing team rituals, running town halls, and organizing offsites. This includes strategic accountability for the timing and topics of these events to ensure they align with team and business objectives. Wed love to chat if you have: BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience 5 years+ experience supporting organizations in a program management or EA capacity Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Effective and respectful communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment, with a focus on operational efficiencies and process improvements Proactive, strategic thinker with a track record of driving initiatives and delivering results A plus if you have experience with Figma, ProductBoard, Maze Ability to own, drive and facilitate operations-related initiatives and programs Collaborative by nature, adept at problem solving, outcomes driven, you see the strategic and tactical view of things Demonstrate Bill values of: humble, accountable, fun, passionate, authentic The estimated salary range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. San Jose pay range $131,000 - $164,300 USD
