Job Description

You will join an expert and motivated team responsible for crafting the next generation of Automotive and Industrial Architectures using cutting-edge technologies such as AI, Chiplets, Quantum, etc. The role involves driving the HW and SW Architectures Safety Concept and Model-Based Safety Analyses (MBSA) for Automotive and Industrial applications involving AI components within a dependability context, considering system attributes like Safety, Cybersecurity, Reliability, Availability, and Real-Time.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out comprehensive MBSA activities to develop the Technical Safety Concept for automotive and industrial HW, SW, and System Architectures integrating AI Components.
  • Contribute to investigations of emerging technologies, including reliability, cybersecurity, AI, and predictive maintenance.
  • Drive exploration, continuous improvement, and standardization of methodologies; evaluate new tools and propose innovative practices to facilitate the efficient application and adoption of safety processes.
  • Deliver high-quality documentation, such as reports and work products, adhering to industry standards, methodologies, tools, and templates.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in designing and verifying embedded electronics systems, HW and SW architectures, with knowledge of HDL languages (Verilog, VHDL) and programming languages (Assembler, C, C , Python).
  • Experience working on functional safety-related development projects following standards like ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ISO 13849, ISO 21434, DO 254, DO 178C, from design to safety certification of IPs, HW, SW, and SoCs.
  • Deep expertise in Safety Analysis methodologies using industry-standard tools, from system level to HW and SW component level: FTA, FMEDA, DFA, SW FMEA, STPA, SPFM/LFM, and PMHF.
  • Proficiency in authoring and reviewing high-quality documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication of technical information.
  • Enthusiasm, flexibility, and a hardworking attitude with a passion for enabling team success.

Nice To Have:

  • Experience in developing ML/AI applications using tools like Pytorch and TensorFlow.
  • Familiarity with Cybersecurity concepts such as TARA, Attack Trees, and HSM architectures.
  • Knowledge of Reliability technologies and standards applied to SoCs, including RAS, Predictive Maintenance, BFR, HTOL, HAST, Burn-in, JEDEC specifications.
  • Experience with HW and SW Architecture Modelling, Model-Based System Engineering, ISO 15288, MagicGrid Framework, SysML 2.0.
