Staff Digital Design Engineer - Power Management IC

The Staff Digital Design Engineer reports directly to the Senior Manager of Design Engineering and offers the opportunity to contribute to advanced silicon products through innovation in digital design, verification, and automation.


Responsibilities for the Staff Digital Design Engineer:

  • Design, verify, and debug digital circuits in pre- and post-silicon environments.
  • Develop test cases and automation scripts to support design validation.
  • Own design blocks from specification through implementation.
  • Research and integrate new tools to improve design efficiency.
  • Provide technical mentorship and lead digital design efforts on projects.

What we need for the Staff Digital Design Engineer - Power Management IC role:

  • BSc/MSc in EE or ECE with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong Verilog design skills; CDC/RDC/LINT clean design experience.
  • Proficient in SystemVerilog testbench debug and gate-level simulation.
  • Strong experience in RTL
  • Familiar with common serial interfaces (I2C, SPI, etc.).
  • Experience with Cadence or Synopsys design tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership in delivering successful silicon projects.

Preferred skills:

  • Scripting in Python or Perl.
  • ARM Cortex-M knowledge and understanding of computer architecture.
  • Exposure to mixed-signal and analog design concepts.
  • Backend flow experience (synthesis, STA, P&R).
  • End-to-end design flow familiarity.
