Position Summary: Responsible for ensuring annual in-service training and adequate orientation for newly hired staff.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Massachusetts.
  • Preferred experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation.
  • CPR certified; proficient in English and MS Office.
  • Essential Functions:

  • Oversee in-service training and maintain records.
  • Act as champion for staff education software.
  • Ensure competency of nursing staff during probation.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and manage Preceptor Program.
  • Administer vaccinations and maintain documentation.
  • Schedule and prepare in-service topics and trainers.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and assume charge nurse duties as needed.
