Key Responsibilities:

Lead Group Therapy Sessions:
Facilitate group therapy sessions for IOP adult clients three days per week, with each session lasting three hours.
Foster a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for clients to process their challenges, share experiences, and develop coping strategies.
Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, etc.) to address mental health and/or substance use issues.
Treatment Planning:
Conduct comprehensive social histories to understand the background and needs of clients.
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring they align with clinical goals and recovery needs.
Insurance Reviews:
Complete insurance reviews to assess the coverage and benefits for IOP clients.
Collaborate with insurance providers and administrative staff to ensure continued authorization for services and address any insurance-related concerns or issues.
Assessments:
Conduct Level of Care Assessments for adolescents or adults in crisis to determine appropriate treatment levels and make recommendations for care.
Collaboration and Documentation:
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and session summaries, in accordance with agency policies and licensing requirements.

Must have a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or other counseling related field.

Must have Assoc/Temp license.

CPI required within 60 in days of employment. CPR required within 30 days of employment. Temp, Associate or full Licensure/certification is required at hire.

2 years in the health care or social service field, psychiatric hospital experience preferred.
