Staff Clinical Pharmacist

Advanced Pharmaceutical Consultants provide pharmacy services including pharmacists, technicians, and automation to behavioral health hospitals nationwide. We offer an excellent network of career opportunities across the U.S. We are currently seeking a Weekend Pharmacist for a behavioral health hospital in Lancaster, SC. You must be able to deliver superior quality in all that you do. We are seeking results-driven team player whose primary focus will put patient safety and care first. Qualified candidates must be passionate about providing a superior quality of care.

Hours: Saturday and Sunday every other weekend from 10am to 2pm.

Duties:
Order entry/verification ensuring appropriate pharmaceutical care is administered to patients of the hospital.
Correctly preparing/labeling of all drugs and chemicals
Provide clinical, operational, administrative, inventory, staffing and financial management of hospital pharmacy.
Ensure compliance with standards of The Joint Commission, CMS and other regulatory bodies, including state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:
Automated dispensing machine experience preferred.
Data order entry/verification proficient.
Detail oriented and organized.
Excellent communication skills with physicians and nursing staff.
Pro-active, problem-solving individual that will work as a team, ability to work independently and meet financial, regulatory, and clinical goals as directed by management.
Must be oriented and knowledgeable in the specialized functions of a psychiatric pharmacy.

Job Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy. RPh or PharmD required.
Experience: Must have 1year of hospital pharmacy experience as well as pharmacy management experience.
License/Certification: Currently licensed as a Pharmacist in South Carolina.
Physical Requirements: Moderate to low physical demands.
