- Description: The Staff Assistant will provide direct support to the Dean, Vice Dean and other Senior DSCU leaders. This position is critical to the support needs of the organization
- What You'll Do:
- Participate in special projects when required.
- Manage Ops Calendar and hold weekly meetings.
- Track the status of all lines of effort; maintain the relevant documentation.
- Assures uniform application of all administrative and operating policies and procedures, coordination of related responsibilities and resolution of problems encountered in day-to-day operations.
- Performs complete and thorough guidance/information when assisting DSCU personnel in scheduling conference rooms and with meeting support.
- Performs administrative functions to include managing office visitors, managing supplies, organizing, and providing logistical support to events, meetings, and trips independently and accurately.
- Ensures file management and document disposition to archives are correct, compliant, and timely.
- Assist the DSCU leadership with research assistance, document drafting, and representing them at meetings.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assists DSCU executive leadership with research assistance.
- Manages package deliveries, mail pick-up, and shipping awards/documents to other campuses.
- Acts with discretion and maintains professionalism when handling sensitive documents and topics.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft 365 suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Acts as the primary SharePoint content manager for DSCU executive leadership.
- Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications
- Education: A minimum associate's degree from an accredited institution. Candidate can have 1 year of direct office leading experience in lieu of degree.
- Certifications/Licenses:
- None required
- Experience:
- Minimum one year of experience in:
- Leading/managing an office or supporting a senior level leader.
- Working independently with the ability to stay motivated and multitask.
- Work as a team to support the mission of the senior leadership office.
- Additional experience in the field of security cooperation (SC) is a plus.
- Other Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data system

- Salary Range: $50K-$65K
