To support their expanding
software applications team, they are seeking a
Staff Engineer - Applications Software based in the
USA. This role will focus on
developing, optimizing, and supporting software solutions that integrate their
low-power semiconductor products into customer applications.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain software development kits (SDKs), drivers, and middleware for IoT and AI semiconductor products.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers integrating software solutions into their platforms.
- Optimize firmware and software performance, ensuring efficient power management and processing.
- Work closely with hardware, firmware, and applications teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and validating software running on low-power embedded platforms.
- Develop technical documentation, application notes, and customer training materials.
Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in applications software development, embedded systems, or semiconductor software solutions.
- Strong proficiency in C/C and Python for low-power embedded software development.
- Experience with RTOS, Linux, or bare-metal programming.
- Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, LPWAN) and AI edge processing is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer-facing communication skills.
