Job Title: Staff Accountant
Direct Hire - $55,000-$70,000
Onsite daily - Walpole NH

- Demonstrated ability to organize work and set priorities to meet deadlines while working independently

Description: The Staff Accountant will report to and work closely with the Finance Manager. There is plenty of growth opportunity for a person looking to advance their career in accounting and finance.
- Responsibilities:Produce daily sales and cash reports
- Daily check incoming and outgoing funds posting in our accounting system
- Review accounts receivable aging report weekly and make collection calls
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist in the Income statement forecast and potentially cash flow statement
- Sales tax calculations and filings
- Lead accounts payable process
- Assist with accounting activities related to the month-end closing process
- Identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement
- General ledgers, journal entries, running reports
- Assist accounting manager with month-end close
- Responsible for running month-end and bi-weekly reports
- Payroll analytics, including sending payroll analysis to COO
- Review top vendors each month and major expenses
- Reporting cash balances daily
- Assist with accounts payable review, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations
- Mix of accounting and FP&A tasks, providing a great learning experience
