Staff Accountant (Kirkland, WA)
Job Responsibilities:
General transaction accounting support
•   Reconcile GL accounts
•   Reconcile Bank Accounts
•   Month-end close assistance
•   Assisting with filing sales tax
•   Ad hoc accounting support CV Resources is working with a well-established distribution company backed by private equity, looking to hire a Staff Accountant with at least 1-2 years of accounting experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in accounting and gain exposure to financial operations in a dynamic, private equity-backed environment. The role will be based onsite at either their Kirkland, WA office. Key Responsibilities:
•  Perform daily accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.
•  Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
•  Prepare financial statements and account reconciliations for various ledgers and balance sheet accounts.
•  Use NetSuite software to enter and track financial transactions, generate reports, and analyze data.
•  Support the preparation of management and investor reports, adhering to private equity standards.
•  Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights into financial performance.
•  Reconcile bank and credit card statements and handle other daily financial transactions.
•  Participate in audits and regulatory filings as needed.
•  Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and accurate financial operations. Required Qualifications:
•  1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a distribution or private equity environment.
•  Strong proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP software.
•  Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
•  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•  Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
•  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
•  Good communication skills and the ability to interact with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications:
•  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•  Experience with private equity-backed organizations.
