Job Details

Position Overview
This role will support managing the manufactured home and construction divisions across multiple locations. The Accounting Administrator will be responsible for full-cycle accounting duties, accounts payable and receivable, tax filings, payroll processing, compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional (3-5+ years) who understands business operations, financial management, and compliance-someone who is proactive and adaptable in a fast-growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor payments, refunds, and customer reimbursements
Enter all bills and expenses into QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Manage accounts receivable, including customer invoicing, reconciliation, and follow-ups
Ensure state and vendor compliance, including W9 and contract agreements
Handle personal property tax filings and state compliance reporting
Oversee flooring line and credit line management
Support construction draws and financing processes
Process payroll and payroll tax filings, verify hours, and manage commissions
Ensure PR tax updates, unemployment forms, and compliance in QBO
Manage state titling compliance
Enter journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records

Qualifications & Experience
3-5+ years of accounting experience (experience in real estate, construction, or finance preferred)
Strong understanding of business operations and accounting principles
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) or similar accounting software
Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and Google products
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of compliance, tax filings, payroll, and financial reporting
No CPA required, but tax planning knowledge is a plus
