Salary: $50,000 - $80,000 per year
A bit about us:We have an immediate opening with our client, a highly respected CPA firm, for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their collaborative team. This established practice has built their reputation in the Pacific Northwest on developing long-term client relationships across diverse industries and is affiliated with an international network of accounting professionals.
As senior tax accountant, you will:
- Prepare and review corporate, individual, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns
- Research complex tax and accounting matters
- Consult with clients and assist with the performance of financial statement audits and reviews
- Develop year-end projections and income tax provisions
- Create related financial statement disclosures
- Prepare extensions and quarterly estimates
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities
- Demonstrate creative thinking and individual initiative
- Additional duties and special projects as assigned
We are seeking candidates with an active CPA license (or CPA in progress) and 1-5 years of recent tax or audit experience. A public accounting background is preferred, but not required. Interested applicants should be knowledgeable about UltraTax or ProSystem FX products and a have strong analytical, technical, and organizational skills.
