Amazon's Retail Business Services (RBS) team seeks a dynamic and talented individual to achieve business and operational goals for our vendors. Responsibilities include root causing data quality issues, researching vendor chargeback escalations, identifying selection gaps, expanding vendor selection, and developing vendor relationships.
This role offers an introduction to our online retail business and serves as a broad training ground for future success. You should be an effective listener, communicator, and problem-solver, capable of balancing the needs of both and strategic vendors. You must be able to drive operational metrics and exceed ambitious business goals by engaging with internal business and operations partners.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage small to medium scale projects independently for at least 1 year.
- Identify and address process gaps and improvement opportunities; utilize automation and technology to increase productivity and simplify processes.
- Support data collection, report preparation, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to improve product selection, fix catalog defects, analyze profitability, and support business growth.
- Implement and monitor metrics to evaluate product success and quality.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and Indian holidays.
Note: This is a seasonal fixed-term role (FTC) for 11 months, on Amazon's payroll.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Arabic B1/B2 certification (mandatory).
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- 3+ years in backend operations, complex customer requests, inside sales, or client management, preferably in eCommerce, retail tech, BPO, HiTech, or software industries.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to influence without authority.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and team-oriented.
- Proficient in Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluent in Arabic (reading, writing, speaking).
- Knowledge of SQL (optional but advantageous).
- Skills in VBA, Python, etc. (optional).
- Experience in back-office operations, escalation management, and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing high-priority queues.
