We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team. Please note this is not a contract position, you will be joining as W-2 employee.
As a Senior Software Developer on our Agile development team, you will play a key role in developing and deploying high-performance, scalable enterprise cloud applications using C and Angular. You will work closely with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders to create innovative solutions that meet our business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Build rich and interactive user interfaces using Angular and modern web technologies
- Develop backend systems using C and .NET Core, leveraging AWS services for data storage, compute, and functionality
- Design and optimize data models using Entity Framework Core
- Write unit and integration tests for code quality and maintainability
- Collaborate with other developers on code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Actively participate in security assessments related to job responsibilities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a software developer, with a strong focus on C and .NET Core
- 2+ years of experience with Angular and building single-page applications
- Proficient in Entity Framework Core for data modeling and persistence
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and a passion for building exceptional software
Preferred Skill and Experience:
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture principles
- Experience with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda
- Experience with security best practices in cloud environments
- Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum
- Undergraduate degree, technical certificate, or relevant industry experience.
- Familiarity (high-level) with HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST, PCI and FedRamp compliance requirements is helpful, but not necessarily required
