Our client, a growing Houston area law firm in the Galleria area, has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Complex Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join their team. The firm offers a hybrid work schedule, great benefits and competitive pay.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Legal document preparation
- Communication with clients and legal teams
- Assisting with depositions and trials
- Document review tasks to support the legal proceedings of the firm
- Trial preparation and trial attendance for insurance defense and complex commercial litigation cases (occasional travel is required for trial)
Qualifications
- Law and legal document preparation skills
- Strong communication skills
- Document Review abilities
- Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience working in a law firm or legal setting
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Paralegal certification or Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies
- 7 years or more of solid defense litigation experience managing complex cases
- Defense Complex Litigation Trial attendance experience is required, no exceptions
