Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to other Test Engineers
  • Troubleshoot test fixtures, software, and procedures
  • Perform analysis, diagnostics and preliminary evaluations of products
    • Develop test procedures, equipment and fixturing design responsibilities
    • Analyze customer requirements and develop testing procedures
    • Repair and maintenance of test fixtures
  • Install test software and programming software
  • Repair and troubleshoot test PCs
  • Assist Production with test needs and troubleshooting PCA down to the component level
  • Set up and support the Engineering VLAN
  • Oversee, troubleshoot, and conduct Flying Probe and ICT testing

Ideal Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related technical field
  • Proficiency in design tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent drafting software
  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN networking technologies, including Ethernet and TCP/IP protocols
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing PC hardware issues
  • Hands-on soldering expertise, including reworking through-hole and SMT components
  • Experience in building prototypes and wiring systems
  • Experience using electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and 4-wire LCR meters
  • Demonstrated expertise in interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and electrical design processes
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronic circuits and their underlying principles
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose issues down to the component level in analog, digital, and embedded systems
  • Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems
  • Strong technical writing and documentation capabilities
  • Competency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience negotiating and managing conflicts with professionalism and tact
  • Proven ability to plan, solve problems, and set priorities effectively
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring quality in deliverables
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and adapt in dynamic, fast-changing environments
