Let's get growing Your role: Sourcing/Recruiting/Interviewing + Identify and implement an innovative and strategic sourcing and recruitment plan that results in talented hires and the development of a strong candidate pipeline for future openings. + Build strong relationships with candidates and referral sources throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience that represents VAA's values and brand. + Collaborate with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand business needs and ideal candidate profiles. + Source top talent through multiple channels which may include the ATS, social media, Boolean searches, LinkedIn recruiter, etc. + Conduct initial candidate screens and determine eligibility for advancement in the selection process. + Oversee the reference check, PI, and application processes ensuring they are completed according to VAA policy. + Maintain and ensure compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations. + Track relevant metrics, and analyze sourcing effectiveness. + Coordinate with contingency agencies, as needed. Outreach + Contact and engage with potential candidates. + Lead college and university initiatives by collaborating with career centers, faculty, staff, and student organizations, and participating in career fairs. + Promote and coordinate VAA student and faculty site visits. + Attend relevant community/networking events to represent VAA and make connections in the engineering industry. + Develop and maintain a referral network by cultivating authentic relationships with candidates, college & university faculty & staff, VAA employees, and other sources of candidate referrals. + Manage the employee referral program. Your resume must include: + Bachelor's degree in business, human resource management, or related field. Relevant experience considered in lieu of degree requirement. + 8+ years of recruiting/sourcing experience in engineering, technical, professional services, or related industries. + Ability to travel up to 25% or as needed to achieve objectives. Starting Annual Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000.
