Position Summary MAG IS OFFERING UP TO A 10k SIGN-ON BONUS FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES. MAG Aerospace is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support Product Manager Information Warfare Cyber Infrastructure (PdM IWCI) in offensive cyber program initiatives. The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex cyber systems within the IWCI portfolio, focusing on technical infrastructure, data analysis, development security practices, cloud engineering strategies, and ensuring the stability and efficiency of the platform, often utilizing advanced programming languages and quantitative analysis techniques to system performance. This is an opportunity to be involved in the newly formed PM Cyber & Space and be a part of the rapidly growing Cyber Infrastructure Product Office responsible for key capabilities within the offensive cyber operations world. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to : Collaborate with component teams, requirements owners, DoD component teams, and developmental contractors; the collaboration includes operational requirements translation into software requirements, designs, implementations, developmental planning artifacts. Support efforts of execution platforms including cloud, multi-cloud, system of systems, commercial/government software applications. Design, implement, document, and manage systems in respect to training, testing, automation, troubleshooting, DevSecOps, and CI/CD. Collaborate with the defense industrial complex science and technology partners. Conducts reviews and assesses developmental contractor software code to ensure compliance with government-provided coding and cybersecurity standards. Participates in government oversight of contractor software development activities, to include as a supporting team member in agile development paradigm activities (e.g., scrums, sprint retrospectives), develops software acceptance criteria, and generating recommendations to the government Assistant Product Manager; all require development, development planning, development/test automation tools, requirements prioritization, test, evaluation, cross-system integration, and fielding/delivery, and post-delivery support of software-based systems. Requirements Minimum Requirements Knowledge and Skills Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework). Experience with Cloud Solution Management (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google, Terraform). Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git). Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery. Experience with Unix-based (e.g. RedHat, Ubuntu, etc.) and Windows Operating Systems. Familiarity with Application Programming Interfaces. Experience with Ansible Playbooks. Experience with Zero-Trust Architecture and Secure Coding Practices. Experience with Python and/or Java development. Familiarity with DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processes. Excellent communications skills including the ability to generate and deliver focused briefings on complex topics to senior leaders. Proven experience leading teams and participating in government SETA oversight of vendor teams. Ability to work on, and/or lead, multi-functional/multi-disciplinary teams. Excellent communications skills including the ability to generate focused technical documentation on complex topics Must be able to work in a team environment and execute tasks on-quality and on-time. Clearance Must have an active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility. Experience 10 years of direct experience with software development. 3 years in cyber or C4ISR systems. Education Bachelor's Degree Four (4) years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education. Other Qualifications Ability to travel 25% Ability to work in office , lab and field environments. The projected compensation range for this position is $0 to $200,000 (annualized USD).
