SUMMARY OF JOB
The Senior Systems Analyst role poses a solid understanding of Ambulatory and Post Acute Care application systems to support our Physician Practice Management, LifeCare and HomeCare Divisions. Requires a strong knowledge of Electronic Health Record & Practice Management Applications. Provides ongoing support of all Ambulatory and Post Acute applications to support business and patient care processes. Coordinate or assist in the planning, design, development, testing of new applications and enhancements to existing applications. Performs complex analysis and troubleshooting for various applications. Follows technical standards for development, testing, change management and documentation. Practices continuous quality improvement, and serves as support resource for IT Projects and teams throughout the enterprise. Mentoring IT application analysts.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS
- 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred. Experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Proven abilities as IT subject matter. Expertise in developing and implementing software and interoperability that provides value to the customer base.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Electronic Health Records, Ambulatory and Post Acute Care systems preferred.
- Knowledge of the following systems a plus: Athena, HomeCare HomeBase, and PointClickCare and other ongoing Ambulatory and Post Acute Care applications.
- Must have ability to exercise independent judgement in planning, organizing, and performing system analyst tasks.
- Ability to serve as a subject matter expert to troubleshoot, research and solve technically challenging problems.
- Ability to work on IT teams and as an IT lead exercising independent judgment in planning, organizing, communicating support for IT Projects.
- Ability to multi-task issues and projects daily.
- Must have ability to communicate, motivate and organize projects among a broad spectrum of personnel throughout the network, frequently under deadlines and pressures.
- Supports and perform feasibility and analytical areas of responsibility.
- Ability to ensure processes and workflows are reviewed, documented, changed, and optimized as part of all technology deployment.
- Ensures the implementation and daily operations of all computer applications HIPAA, security and change control processes.
- Performs duties in support of the Health System Mission to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner.
- Travel between facilities and practices.
- On-call and limited holiday coverage.
- Other duties as assigned.
