Description SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Systems Administrator to join our team of professionals providing technical and program services to the U.S. Government (USG) . SAIC provides research, engineering, design, analysis, acquisition, development, integration, test, and operations support to USG Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) customers. We support development and delivery of next generation and generation after next national security systems based on land, at sea, in air, and in space. The S ystems A dministrator will be part of a small team responsible for managing all facets of a customer on-premises network to include a large inventory of VMw are ESXi blade servers, HP storage , Cisco switches, Windows and Linux servers , and high-powered GPU works tat ions . The S ystems A dministrator will also be responsible for the Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities to include security scanning, reporting and remediation. The primary functions of the candidate will include, but are not limited to: Serve as the systems administrator lead , engaging with the customer to understand requirements as well as promote the network to encourage growth and utilization . Serve as a customer consultant f or new t echnologies and expansion of the network to nextgen and o ther technologies in customer focused areas. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments using industry standard a nd customer specific tools . Identify , prioritize, and address vulnerabilities, ensuring timely installation of security updates . Prepare and send security vulnerability and compliance r emediation reports to security . Provide O&M for the virtualized environments (VMware vCenter, to include ESXi and distributed switches). Provision hardware, storage, resources and configuration/administration, including high-availability and failover services. Provide configuration management to include authoring technical documentation, process changes, and inventory control. Research and obtain quotes for hardware/software based on customer requirements. Provide superior customer service . Qualifications Must possess current TS/SCI with Polygraph. Must be DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant (have current CompTIA, Security+ certification or higher ). Bachelor's and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Master's and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience. Experience with MS Windows Server 2022 / 2019 with expertise in Active Directory and Group Policy Expertise with VMware management. Hands on experience creating and updating R isk Management Framework documentation. Ability to interpret vulnerability, risk, and security assessment of hardware and software. Knowledge in basic networking technologies (switches, routers, VLANs). P ossess strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills in a dynamic customer centric environment.
