Sr System Engineer (Top Secret Clearance) with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently looking for a Sr System Engineer to support work for NGA's GEOINT program on-site in San Diego, CA . The Sr System Engineer will provide system engineering support on large-scale systems, major system elements, and provide overall system engineering expertise in the architecture, design, and development for the program. Responsibilities for the Sr System Engineer include: Develop detailed system architecture/concept of operations briefings, generate systems requirements, and develop other system documentation. Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interface with the following groups: software development, testing, integration, deployment, and sustainment. Qualifications for the Sr System Engineer include: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field with 8+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent training/certifications). Deep understanding of NSG Standards for Electro-Optical (EO) and Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR) data, including experience evaluating sample data for compliance. Proven experience contributing to product development working groups (PDWGs), providing feedback, and identifying redlines to update technical specifications. 5+ years of experience in system architecture for enterprise software systems, with the ability to assess and adapt to evolving system interfaces and requirements. Strong oral/written communication, negotiation, planning, and organizational skills; capable of engaging with senior managers, customers, and partners. Familiarity with NSG Standards documents (e.g., JBP, STDI-0002, BPJ2K01.20), GEOINT vector data, ABI tradecraft workflows, and the TCPED intelligence lifecycle . Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S Government Top Secret Clearance. Compensation for the Sr System Engineer include: Salary Range: $180,000 - $220,000 depending on experience Comprehensive Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
