Sr. System Administrator - Linux with Security Clearance

The Managing/Senior Principal Consultant will design and implement individual components of the Oracle products based on area of expertise. Analyze detailed requirements and develop detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology. Provide implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows. Perform routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security. Perform system optimization, performance tuning and assist in capacity planning. Perform proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations. Requirements TS/SCI FSP Clearance 10 years overall IT experience, with at least 8 years' experience in a production System Administration role Linux - (CentOS/RHEL) administrator concepts and principles VMWare VM creation, configuration, and operation experience Enterprise Automation using Ansiple Scripting: Shell, Python preferred Physical Server Administration Storage Management (ex LG, PV, LVM) Protocols (ex NFS, SAMBA, ISCSI) SAN Storage configuration Understanding of network storage (ex NAS and SAN) Networking Understanding of networking concepts and principles Routing, IPSec Security Compliance YUM Patching IAVA Remediation Server certificate management Automation (ex Ansible, Puppet, SALT) SELinux Authentication User and Group Mangement Understanding of Active Directory and DNS User certificate management About Us For more than 20 years, NewGen Technologies has solved our clients' toughest IT challenges with integrity, security, and outstanding service by delivering both technology and talent.
