The System Administrator is responsible for support, configuration, maintenance, and operations of the Windows server and Active Directory environment. Emphasis on building automation processes, scripting, and PowerShell experience. Primary Functions/Job Description Work with System Administrator team to learn server environment Maintain/upgrade/build/implement Windows Systems Manage/maintain/troubleshoot Active Directory Build and implement Group Policies Maintain, configure, monitor, tune, and troubleshoot server software Manage user accounts and access to systems Daily resolution of ticket/issues sent to System Administrator queue Perform daily monitoring of environment including hardware, applications, key processes, and scheduled jobs Develop, maintain, and contribute to installation and configuration procedures documentation Work with Security team to review audits, policies, and procedures Manage MFA system and support Understanding of certificates (issuing, renewing, etc) Other duties as assigned Preferred Skills Understanding of A/D objects and layout Knowledge of Group Policy - deployment and development Expert knowledge with DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP, and TLS Expert knowledge of Windows Server systems (Win 2016, 2019, 2022, 2025) Expert scripting in PowerShell Knowledge of CA/PKI environments Knowledge of Windows Clustering Understanding of SQL Database and basic query skills VMware knowledge Exchange knowledge a plus Requirements: Ability to work in team environment and individually Minimum of 8 years IT experience in an advanced role Troubleshooting and problem solving ability is a must Excellent written and oral communication skills including documentation Ability to learn new technology and skills quickly Benefits include: Competitive Wages Medical, Dental and Prescription Plan 401(k) Program with Company Match Paid Vacation Sick / Personal Pay (SPP) Employee Discount Life Insurance and Long Term Disability Insurance (LTD) Flexible Spending Plan Holiday Pay Integris Clinic and Pharmacy on campus Chaplain Services on campus Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer For reasonable accommodation of disability during the hiring process call .
