Our Somersworth & Rochester, NH locations are seeking a Sr. Staff Quality Engineer to join our team. Are you ready to shape the future with us? THE POSITION Sr. Staff Quality Engineer, OESL Automotive USA LLC, Somersworth & Rochester, NH: Monitor supplier quality and work closely with Purchasing on evaluation and monitoring of supplier performance. Create, edit, and follow-up on supplier complaints using SAP systems and Power BI. If necessary, quarantine the affected parts, tracking of the blocked vendor parts. Lead the PPAP (Production Parts Approval Process) for the vendor parts and support the PPAP process on a global level. Support launch or new or change projects with qualification and validation through APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)/PLC (Product Lifecycle) process. Conduct and participate in supplier development activities including supplier audits, run at rate and supplier visits as necessary. Support Production in the reaction of Lessons Learned regarding purchased components. Support the customer team in the drafting of purchased parts and completing the APQP gate requirements. Lead all the activated from technical lab, including the team and direction for the testing scheduling, processing and releasing the results. This positions location is split equally between the Employers office in Somersworth and its industrial facility in Rochester both located in Strafford County, New Hampshire. Telecommuting permitted up to 20%. Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Engineering (any), Operations Management, Quality Systems or a related field and 5 years of work experience in automotive quality. Must have 3 years of experience in IATF 16949. Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: Working with Quality Tools including APQP, PPAP, Control Plan, PFMEA, and MSA; Leading Quality Management system(s); Leading problem-solving teams or CAPA implementations; Working with statistical methods; and Supporting Management Review and KPI reporting. International and domestic travel required up to 15%. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
