Job Description:
Technical lead for Broadcom Ethernet Product lines. These products include AI/ML scale up/scale out, Service Provider, Enterprise, and SMB switches, Ethernet Physical layer device (GE/10GigE/40G/100G/400G/800G/Optical). Individual will be working with Cloud and Networking OEMs on leading edge industry standard Broadcom switch silicon (XGS and DNX) family. Responsible for all technical aspects of the project through out the design cycle ranging from pre-sales to production start. Understands the hardware aspects and architecture of the products thoroughly. Performs Schematic and layout review. Help customers with proto bring up. Troubleshooting hardware problems at all stages of the design. Help with feature implementation, be able to understand how packet flow through the device, be able to implement features using diag shell and low level register programming. Be able to replicate customer issues in the lab using test equipment. Answers customer questions in a timely manner. Be able to do customer demos, setup evalboards in customer labs. Present roadmaps and technology related presentations to the customers. Provide feedback to marketing for making Next Gen Broadcom products better and align them with customer needs. Provide feedback to factory applications team for improving documentation and championing customer needs. Work with Field Sales Engineers to increase demand for Broadcom Networking products. Track customer program's progress with account manager. Act as technical liaison between Design Team/Factory Application Teams and Customer.
Requirements: BSEE/MSEE. 8-10 years of board design, schematic capture, board layout, board bring up experience. Written and understand FPGA logic. High speed signaling (10G/40G/100G/400G) experience. System level knowledge. Excellent communication skills. Positive "can do" attitude. Quick learner. Ability to prioritize and multitask. Methodical approach. Independent, be able to work individually with out too much supervision. Team player

Compensation and Benefits
The On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this position is $139,000 - $222,000
OTE includes Sales Incentive Commission in accordance with relevant plan documents. This position is also eligible for equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
