We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual for a dynamic role supporting our Director of Finance. The Senior Accountant will assist in completing accounting and some financial tasks, maintaining, and providing reporting following a periodic schedule.


Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Senior Staff Accountant will be involved in tracking performance and will be exposed to an array of business aspects spanning from financial statement review to partnering with third party partners on tax work. Responsible for tracking and reporting on a variety of KPIs and metrics, analyzing business performance, and help senior management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing business insights in a clear and effective manner.


Job Responsibilities:


• AR/AP and intercompany transactions over multiple entities.


• Coordinates US Tax filings with third party tax compliance provider.


• Assists in delivering periodic reporting for various stakeholders, including organizational leaders,

investors, and other stakeholders


• Creates and maintains schedules, standard operating procedures, and documentation for

business continuity in Finance and Accounting


• Manages and advises on intercompany transactions and allocations schedules of shared costs


• Completes various aspects of compensation, including payroll, benefits, and retirement plan

administration


• Performs other related duties as assigned.


• Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.


• Reviews the general ledger and accounting entries to ensure accuracy of financial reports.


• Spearheads creation and accounting planning for new entities


Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.


• Three years of professional experience as an accountant, financial analyst, auditor, or analyst.


• Experience in QuickBooks or other accounting platforms


• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certificate a plus.


• Private Equity, Family Office, Venture Capital experience a plus


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Advanced MS office, with Advanced MS Excel, MS Outlook


• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).


• Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and

procedural methods used in big data analysis.


• Ability to learn and operate on multiple software platforms


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Maintaining and prioritizing competing projects with overlapping project timelines and

deadlines
