Notified is expanding its Technology team and adding two Sr Software Engineers in Woburn, MA. Our expectation at this time is you will work from our office located at 130 New Boston Street on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with flexibility to work from home on Monday and Friday.

Day to day responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
Your work tasks/responsibilities:
- Design and develop state of the art, modern, high performing, scalable web applications.
- Review of feature documentation and assisting the team in breaking down all features into stories for the team backlog.
- Analyze business problems, design solutions, and develop modern web applications, follow best coding practices like code review, unit tests etc.
- Ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements of existing systems and platforms.
- Active participation in the implementation, operation and troubleshooting of new cloud-based and cloud-hosted services.
- Active participation in building and improving our continuous integration and deployment processes (CI/CD).
- Participation (virtual or in person) in planning meetings for coordination between the Scrum teams.
- Participation in the continuous improvement of our Agile and DevOps culture and engineering best practices.
- Monitoring system performance and creation of highly scalable and operable systems.
- Independent and joint development of solutions for complex problems.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements
Experience
- Minimum five years increasingly responsible experience as a .NET software engineer required.
- Minimum four years' experience writing detailed program designs for medium to large sized projects preferred.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Proven expertise in .NET (C ) frameworks, with the ability to design and build scalable, high-performance APIs and services.
- Experience in building and maintaining microservices and distributed systems for scalable applications.
- Good understanding in development and writing unit tests using Typescript, Node.js.
- Experience working with any PHP based legacy systems is a plus.
- Collaborative working habits that accelerate the team.
- Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written) is required.
- Practical experience in the application of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
- Responsible, independent, and solution-oriented working style that is based on an overall understanding of the respective problems.
- Nice to have knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, Typescript and associated frontend framework such as Angular, React.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in developing enterprise scale, multi-user applications in .NET and relational databases (MySQL and SQL Server).
- Solid understanding of designing and optimizing Web APIs for large scale usage.
- Experience in serverless architecture, design and development using AWS services.
- Experience working with EKS or other Kubernetes-based environments.
