Sr Software Engineer

IDR is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join one of our top clients in Englewood, CO. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a strong understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools and experience in multi-disciplinary teams. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Sr. Software Engineer:

- Support and coordinate with DevSec Ops team to test and ensure code meets standards before product release
- Contribute to a new Air Craft Radio System implementation
- Utilize automation experience and DevOps tools like Bitbucket
- Some travel may be required
- This is a 4-month contract position

Required Skills for Sr. Software Engineer:

- Thorough understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming Languages such as C and Java
