Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Remote (Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico, Mississippi)

Salary: $110k-150k

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and evaluate technical requirements to drive project success.
• Collaboratively architect and design software solutions.
• Write, test, and review code using Modern C (v20).
• Work with technologies such as Elixir (functional language), Kafka, and Kubernetes.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain software solutions in production.
• Enhance the performance of existing solutions for optimal efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Advanced software development experience, with a focus on Modern C (v14, v17, v20).
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Development.
• Hands-on experience with Linux-based development environments.
• Familiarity with Boost libraries and the Standard Template Library (STL).
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in low-latency systems.
• Exposure to functional programming languages like Elixir, Scala, or Erlang.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience using GitHub for version control.
• Background in mentoring and coaching junior engineers.
• Experience with database management.
