Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a motivated, self-driven, Sr. Software Developer for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and other evolving business pursuits. Responsibilities include: Support the DTO, responsible for supporting the development of next generation modeling and simulation software in support of the entire ICBM enterprise and an array of other software projects Support information technology configuration and certification for spatial data systems, developing client-server data analytics platforms and providing project execution support to clients throughout all phases of planning, restoration and modernization efforts at current and future facilities across the enterprise Develop solutions in collaboration with project managers and the greater software development team to meet the needs of our stakeholders. Development of software solutions would include but not be limited to web applications, back end services, scripts, add-ons, modification of existing software solutions, and generation of new software solutions Full stack development from data solutions (Databases, data integration products) to front end GUI design using the latest UI/UX principles. The software development methodology will be Agile, with an emphasis on Scrum. Participate in daily standups, pair programming, code reviews, and proof of concept activities Deploy products using a DevSecOps toolchain that emphasizes security first in a fully automated pipeline executing on every code commit The position is being filled as a part of the Future ICBM Sustainment and Acquisition Construct (FISAC) under which BAE Systems augments organic government resources by providing breadth and depth of capabilities for system engineering and integration, risk management, technical assessment, acquisition program management, strategy development, organization and change management, interface with operations and logistics, business analysis, mission effectiveness, and ICBM Demonstration / Validation (Dem/Val) Integrated Applications Programs. Position will be located at or near Hill AFB, Utah. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor of Science and 10 years of professional software development experience (5 years w/Master's Degree) Agile software development in one or more; ReactJS, Python, C Experience in AWS GovCloud and DevSecOps environments Experience with Agile software development processes Proficiency in developing software to transact with complex enterprise relational database platforms such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL Experience developing secure microservices and tasks to support REST/JSON based HTML5/JavaScript client-server traffic Ability to successfully lead software development projects and fellow developers Communicate effectively in person, via conference call, and with the latest in communication tools (Mattermost, Teams) Provide exemplary leadership and mentorship to junior members of the team Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Development of solutions for complex Business Intelligence ecosystems. Experience with secure IT systems and ATOs which comply with DoD standards and regulations for secure network operations (DoDI 8510.01, RMF, FedRamp, etc) CompTIA Sec+ certification or other DoD 8570 Certifications Active DoD Secret Security Clearance Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $106654 - $181311 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
