Sr Activations Specialist Direct Hire Remote Position Summary The Senior Software Activation Specialist provides expertise, support, and customer service to clients throughout the course of a client conversion. The Senior Software Activation Specialist is responsible for client satisfaction in the initial system setup, client training, and data conversion to software with a strong knowledge of that software and a basic understanding of the business needs of telecommunications customers. The Senior Software Activation Specialist will perform the duties of the position with minimal direction. The Senior Software Activation Specialist will be involved in daily interaction with client resources (Customer Service Representative, Dispatchers, Network Engineers, Provisioners, Billing Associates, NOC Managers, etc). Primary Accountabilities

1. Design system configuration to meet client's business requirements and perform accurate and appropriate system configuration for conversion of client data and testing.

2. Responsible for thorough and accurate data and system configuration validation.

3. Responsible for managing and tracking assigned project action items

4. Responsible for preparing for and leading client meetings and client trainings for project areas of ownership

5. Provide direct customer support with professional interaction by responding to incoming requests for assistance, requests for project work package completion, prioritizing urgency of calls, researching issues, and responding to client in a timely manner. Utilize strong problem solving skills to troubleshoot conversion issues.

6. Responsible for writing and updating Test Cases applicable to assigned projects

7. Responsible for drafting client-specific user documentation as needed.

8. Provide Project Managers with timely and appropriate feedback on assigned work packages.

9. Provide project reviews and/or feedback concerning project process efficiencies and/or improvements to Software Activations Team Leader in regards to assigned work packages.

10. Ability to work overtime as needed.

11. Ability to travel 25% by car and/or plane, may include weekend travel. Ability to travel internationally is required for some positions. Current valid driver's license required. Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: ? Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or Business Administration
Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Experience:

? Five or more years of client service experience in a technical telecommunications environment preferred ? Three or more years of experience in telecommunications required. Familiarity with ILEC, CLEC and wireless telecommunications operations preferred. ? Three or more years of experience with software products and related product interdependencies preferred. In depth knowledge with SSRS and other computer database/reporting tools preferred. ? Two or more years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred. ? Three or more years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and the ability to write and understand SQL statements preferred. ? Ability to analyze problems, identify workable solutions, and select appropriate course of action. Strong computer and technical skills required. ? Ability to effectively utilize MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). ? Ability to operate copier, fax, phone, and other office equipment as needed
