The National Systems Group serves as the technical advisor to the Intelligence Community and its mission partners involved in the collection and distribution of national and tactical intelligence, including electronics programs, advanced technologies, ground and communications, imagery programs, and systems engineering and launch. Within NSG, the Electronic Programs Division (EPD) serves as SIGINT domain experts to define, deliver, and analyze performance for SIGINT systems. In this opportunity you will serve as a Sr. SIGINT Systems Engineer (Senior Project Leader - Enterprise Systems Engineering) for a new architecture, to include all associated system and subsystem interfaces and functionality. You will be the team's lead representative with Senior Government Officials to review and advise them on requirements authoring and flow-down, process and change management, and risk management. Additionally, you will work with other Directorates to manage interface definitions and requirement linkages. Work Model
This is a full-time position based in Chantilly, VA, which requires 100% onsite work at a customer facility. What You'll Be Doing Act as the primary Aerospace advisor to senior customers; leading Aerospace activities to advise and assist in the development and fielding of the next generation SIGINT architecture
Provide insight to customer and Aerospace leadership of enterprise issues, risks, and opportunities along with effective and responsive engagement strategies
Serve as a spokesperson, advising the customer in formulating, evaluating, and overseeing continued development, verification, and closure of the next generation SIGINT architecture system requirements
Operate strategically to propose new projects and tasks to expand Aerospace's impact on the enterprise integration required for the future architecture
Lead coordination of matrixed, cross-program Aerospace support to develop joint recommendations with program stakeholders and deliver impactful Aerospace products that advise government customers on system risks and opportunities.
Act as a senior mentor to team members, providing guidance to staff in both technical duties and program office responsibilities.
Serve as the primary Aerospace interface to the Government Customer(s), while working collaboratively with a wide variety of other support contractors (e.g.- SETA) and development contractors who are associated with the program What You Need to be Successful Minimum Requirements for the Senior Project Leader - Enterprise Systems Engineering Bachelors degree in engineering or related discipline
10 or more years of progressively more responsible experience
Experience coordinating and leading technical teams across multiple disciplines
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers
Technical knowledge of complex defense systems to include interfaces between system architecture and lower element levels
This position requires a current and active TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to obtain a polygraph, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
Willing to travel to program design reviews up to 10% of time, as required. How You Can Stand Out It would be impressive if you have one or more of these: Technical knowledge of SIGINT satellite systems
