About the Role We are seeking a
Sr. SharePoint Developer to design, develop, and maintain
custom SharePoint solutions for a federal client. This role requires expertise in
SharePoint 2016 or newer, with a focus on
workflow automation, content management, and user interface customization. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to
develop scalable solutions, create prototypes, and ensure optimal SharePoint performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesSharePoint Development & Customization - Design, develop, configure, and deploy custom SharePoint 2016 solutions.
- Create and implement SharePoint workflows, web parts, and content management features.
- Develop, test, and debug software solutions while following coding and configuration management standards.
Solution Design & Stakeholder Collaboration - Participate in solution design and concept visualization to align SharePoint solutions with business needs.
- Create user interface mockups, prototypes, and demo solutions for stakeholders.
- Balance priorities and workload across multiple projects and coordinate with development teams as needed.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting - Maintain SharePoint applications, identifying and resolving issues through troubleshooting and debugging.
- Optimize performance, security, and scalability of SharePoint solutions.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a SharePoint Developer.
- Strong understanding of Windows SharePoint Services and web development best practices.
- Experience with SharePoint 2016 or newer, including workflow automation and content management.
- Ability to develop high-quality, scalable, and effective SharePoint solutions for organizational needs.
Preferred Skills - Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, or SharePoint Online.
- Familiarity with federal IT environments and security compliance standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to development and troubleshooting.
