ABOUT THIS ROLE As a Security Engineer your role will play a key role in the day to day monitoring and implementation of key security controls and processes, closely collaborating with IT, DevOps, and business stakeholders at Xe and Euronet Worldwide. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Xe's information security control and event review for on premise and cloud environments
  • Collaborate with the greater Euronet Worldwide security team.
  • Liaise with development and DevOps teams to design, implement, and monitor secure software and DevOps procedures.
  • Execute and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems.
  • Lead security investigations and assist with planning and execution of security incident response situations.
  • Assist in design of computer security strategy and engineer comprehensive cybersecurity architecture for on premise and cloud infrastructure.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware.
  • Install and administer security software that monitors systems and networks for attacks, security breaches, and intrusions.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Advanced English level
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in security engineering or a related role.
  • Experience with cloud security technologies and best practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security Specialty are a plus.
