We are seeking a Senior Corporate Safety Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and promote a safe working environment. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop safety policies, training courses, and certification programs.
- Conduct safety audits, site inspections, and JHA to identify hazards.
- Creates safety learning plans and facilitates training on safety practices.
- Conduct investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective action
- Drive continuous improvement of safety to minimize workplace injuries.
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding safety best practices.
- Responsible for tracking safety metrics, trends, and recordable rates.

Requirements
- 5 years of safety experience in a warehouse environment
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field preferred.
- OSHA Safety Certification (OSHA 30, OSHA 501, OSHA 511, CSP)
- Forklift Certification & Hazardous Transport (DOT, IATA, IMDG)
- Experience conducting workplace incident investigations
- Knowledge of Incident Management Systems (i.e. Gensuite)
- Travel required (30-40%)
