Position Summary The Senior Reporting & Data Analyst plays a critical role in synthesizing complex data from Banyan's proprietary BanyanConnect platform and client hospital Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) to deliver actionable insights and performance trends. This role fulfills direct data requests from the CEO, Virtual Clinical Care Leadership team, and the Account Management team by producing ad hoc and recurring reports. Additionally will assists the Executive Leadership Team with high-level dashboards and performance monitoring.
The ideal candidate is a technically skilled, business-savvy professional who thrives in transforming raw healthcare data into meaningful insights. They are confident presenting findings, proactive in surfacing trends, and highly responsive to executive-level requests.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdvanced Report Development & Management - Lead the creation and delivery of recurring performance reports for clients (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Build dynamic, client-facing and internal dashboards with accurate, timely data
- Develop ad hoc reporting in response to client, clinical, and executive requests
Data Integration, Modeling, & Analysis - Extract and merge data from multiple sources, including BanyanConnect, client EMRs (Epic, Cerner), and internal platforms
- Build data models and datasets that enable cross-client comparisons and service line analysis
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as nurse utilization, clinical throughput, ROI, and care quality
Executive & Clinical Leadership Support - Provide custom reports and trend analysis to support the CEO and Virtual Clinical Care Leaders
- Translate data findings into executive-ready summaries and recommendations
- Support enterprise-level dashboards that track performance, outcomes, and strategic goals
Client-Facing Insights & Consultation - Collaborate with Account Management to develop reports aligned to client-specific goals and ROI expectations
- Partner with implementation teams to capture baseline data and track improvements post-launch
- Present and explain data to clients in a clear, compelling manner
Governance, Documentation & Best Practices - Maintain documentation of report definitions, logic, and data sources
- Contribute to data governance standards and promote quality assurance
- Continuously identify and implement improvements to the reporting workflow
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in reporting, business intelligence, or data analysis roles
- Strong SQL skills and advanced proficiency in Excel
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Experience with healthcare data, EMRs (Epic, Cerner, Meditech), and clinical performance metrics
- Knowledge of data modeling and experience working with large, complex datasets
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional and executive-level interactions
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in virtual care, telehealth, or hospital operations
- Familiarity with BanyanConnect or similar care coordination platforms
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data security standards
- Basic scripting or automation skills in Python, R, or dbt
