We are looking for a Sr. Reporting Analyst I to join our team.

Summary:

Ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables using analytical, statistical and programming skills.

A typical day will include the following:

Analyze incoming requests for information and determine applicability to company's writings.

Determine course of action to effectively data mine to meet task parameters.

Use SMS to extract transactional data and related detail from company databases to meet the needs of stakeholders.

Isolate and manipulate extractions to comply with various internal and external departments, Bureaus and State Regulatory agencies.

Interact with customers to support accuracy of submissions.

Respond to inquiries from reporting bureaus and agencies regarding statistical data. Identify root causes of data error and recommend source solutions to improve cleanliness of statistical reports.

Implement modifications necessary to improve the validity of final product.

Log projects and documentation in tracking software and update progress.

Review mandated changes from regulatory bureaus and determine impact to existing systems and processes.

Defines requirements and work with development team to maintain integrity of statistical reporting concerns.

Participates in corporate team committees associated with the capture and reporting of statistical data.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates should have the following:

At least five years experience working in a similar role for a commercial P&C insurance carrier.

Strong SQL programming Skills.

Experienced in creating SSMS SQL Queries or Stored Procedures from blank page.

Ability to leverage Object Explorer to assist scripting.

Experience with utilizing multiple databases and tables with complex integration preferred.

Skilled in all aspects of Verisk's Statistical Web Services applications.

Well versed in ISO coding requirements and Strong understanding of ISO rating in multiple lines of business.

Highly Analytical with strong attention to detail.

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Computer Sciences, or Insurance highly preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.

National Range : $82,800.00 - $92,500.00

Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.
