Title: Sr. Remedy Engineer
Type: Contract with the right to hire (will be long-term extensions, may want to convert down the road)
Location: Denver, CO - Hybrid (DTC - Denver Tech Center)

- 3 days a week onsite.
Requirements: Must Haves:
- Understands Remedy dev/architecture at the senior level. Needs to have a developer mindset
- Linux, Oracle, RDBMS, TCP networks - understands how systems work
- Solid with Java, Docker, Kubernetes, etc. - buzzwords he'd be looking for on a resume Nice to Haves:
- Strong system background, someone who was a systems engineer, software engineer, devops person
- Agile/SAFe
About the Position: Team: NetOps (Network Operations)
Ideal candidate:
- Knows Remedy development or Remedy architecture. Need to know remedy and how it works with everything.
- Senior level - 10 YOE
- Linux, Oracle, RDBMS, TCP networks
- Needs a solid person in Java, Docker, Kubernetes, etc. - buzzwords he'd be looking for on a resume
- Strong system background, someone who was a systems engineer, software engineer, devops person
- Understands how systems work.
- Work in Safe Agile program. Not everyone would look at it as Agile but it is important
- Working in Sprints. Regular deliveries.
- This person will need to be an experienced contributor. If someone comes in as an architect expecting to lead the team, they will be frustrated.
- They already have leaders on the team who have been working there for years - need someone who can provide extra hands to support the team with the workload.
Background on Team, Responsibilities, & Enviro - His team supports remedy application - team does changes or supports the app
- Overall team is BMC remedy app dev & support
- 140 servers they're running
- Hosted on internal cloud, not public
- Work with customer ops to better inform customers for outages in network; Limit calls for call centers
- Anticipate projects - funded by other orgs
- Remedy - still the primary scope of responsibilities
- Also picked up regulatory compliance strategy. A couple work streams related to that
- Prioritizing Automation opportunities they're pursuing
