This full-time position requires working Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility to stay late when needed. The role involves reviewing engineering drawings, ensuring conformance to customer requirements, overseeing the calibration and internal audit programs, and assisting with audits, while providing backup support for the Quality Manager and Lead Inspector.

Description

We are seeking candidates with experience in AS9100, AS13100, and custom specifications to join our team. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in quality management systems and the ability to ensure compliance with industry standards in precision manufacturing.

Profile

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of GD&T and the ability to read and interpret machining and fabrication drawings, work instructions, and engineering specifications. They should possess experience in metal fabrication, particularly with exotic metals, stainless, and mild steel, and be familiar with standard quality control measuring devices like verniers, micrometers, and height gauges. Candidates must work methodically and efficiently, paying attention to detail, and have a strong understanding of the NDT process, including FPI and X-ray. Experience with creating and organizing inspection reports, bubble drawings, and laser lab testing submittals is essential, along with familiarity with industry standards such as AS9100 D and AS13100. Proficiency in programming and operating the Romer Arm CMM is a plus.
