Are you a seasoned Project/Program Manager with a passion for ecommerce and technology? We are looking for a skilled professional to lead a large-scale IT program focused on designing and implementing a new ecommerce platform. This role offers the opportunity to work with senior leadership and multiple teams to ensure successful delivery and integration with existing systems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute overall program strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Plan, manage, and oversee multiple workstreams, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal departments, vendor resources, and external partners.
  • Foster collaboration across business, technical, and vendor teams to ensure cohesive and efficient delivery.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project timelines, ensuring visibility and accountability for key milestones.
  • Manage the creation and review of both technical and business deliverables, ensuring completeness and quality.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring delivery commitments are met and managing vendor performance.
  • Partner with senior leaders to communicate program status, challenges, and successes, maintaining trust and alignment.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring financial tracking and reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Optimize resource allocation across teams and vendors, balancing cost, quality, and time considerations.
Skills
  • BA/BS degree in an analytical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT project/program management, with a focus on ecommerce, retail, B2B, B2C or enterprise system integration.
  • Proven ability to manage large, complex programs involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience managing vendors and ensuring adherence to contract deliverables.
  • Experience in working with multi-location and offshore teams.
  • Excellent communication and coalition building skills with an ability to balance, negotiate and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a meticulous approach to managing timelines, budgets, deliverables, resource organization, project/task prioritization and schedule development.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks on highly visible projects with aggressive timelines.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to produce high-quality work as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team.
  • Ability to work and lead through change.
  • An unrelenting commitment to deliver on-time and on-budget.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams whose members are often assigned part-time to a specific project.
  • Strong analytical ability to devise systems and/or process solutions to solve complex business problems.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology.
Preferred Skills
  • Expertise in ecommerce platforms, particularly the Broadleaf platform, and integration with backend systems.
  • Mastery of project management tools including Atlassian and Microsoft tools.
  • Strong expertise in both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies, with hands-on experience using Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Jira Advanced Roadmap Plans).
  • Understanding of enterprise system architecture and integration principles.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial tracking tools.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and presenting to senior leadership.
  • Advanced proficiency in usage of Atlassian Jira and other Atlassian products for full SDLC delivery and reporting.
