A national sports / entertainment brand is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Product Services Group, focusing on Video Player and Video Ad Technology services that support digital platforms. This role will drive the execution of video-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and seamless integration across platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the software development life cycle and be able to manage complex technical projects involving internal and external stakeholders.
  • Hybrid Schedule - 4x per week - Inglewood, CA
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the release process across platforms, ensuring smooth production deployments
  • Manage and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Coordinate communication and collaboration with partners, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Track and report project status, risks, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders
  • Define project deliverables, milestones, and schedules, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Serve as a liaison between Product, Design, Engineering, and QA teams to ensure alignment and problem-solving
  • Manage third-party partners, including resource allocation, budgets, and adherence to SLAs
  • Capture and document project requirements and business goals in clear, accessible language
  • Monitor support channels and create/track open support tickets
  • Develop and implement processes to intake, prioritize, and deliver work efficiently
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on video or ad technology
  • Strong understanding of video players on mobile, web, and connected TV platforms
  • Familiarity with ad tech and video analytics tools (e.g., Conviva, Mux, Adobe Analytics, Google Ad Manager)
  • Proficiency in Jira and experience managing development boards
  • Experience with cross-platform services at scale (e.g., APIs, identity services)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive accountability across teams
  • Ability to adapt to different project models (Kanban, sprints) and manage decision-making processes
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and defining project requirements in evolving environments
