General Overview:
Under the general direction of his/her direct management, the Sr. Project Manager is responsible for managing and directing the implementation of all the technology related components of one or more simultaneous project efforts, as assigned by the VP orDirector of the Business Integration Team. The Sr. Project Manager is directly responsible to project manage one or more work-streams (aka Work Packages or Swim-lanes) within a Program (a group of like projects designed to satisfy a single objective) and to ensure that all intra and inter project related dependencies are defined, managed and controlled. Additionally, the Sr. Project Manager must have experience in soliciting, combining and aggregating project progress information from technical teams, as a single point of reporting for the Program's overall health, to include deliverables, cost, schedule, risks and issues, to the program's sponsor / client, in order to consistently deliver high quality products and services on-time and within budget.

End-to-End Quality Program:
The end-to-end quality program is being re-engineered. This role will be responsible for overseeing the creation, design and implementation of this program, working closely with department heads to align on goals, strategy and implementation.
This role will be the governance point for the program, and will:

• Work with key stakeholders on RFP, vendor selection and hardware procurement, as required

• Establish benchmarks and well-defined KPIs that are achievable and adhered to

• Ensure proper coordination, itegration and enforcement of program parameters across internal departments and external vendor partners

• Create and enforce actions plans to mitigate, avoid and tackle risks head-on
This role will work in concert with the Senior Project Manager of the Seamlessly integrate with AUSA's goal of a ZERO defect quality program.

This role must be comfortable in garnering the support/buy-in/respect from their counterparts to be identified as a lead "agent of change".

o Works with resource managers to drive the identification of the skills, duration and effort required for successful program execution (e.g., resource demand planning)
o Ensures that resources are acquired to meet resource demand plans, escalating for assistance where gaps exist
o Leads and/or prepares reports of program performance upon delivery of product or service
o Ensure regular program related effective communication occurs, i.e.: Status report, meeting minutes, etc.
o Establishes quality objectives, criteria, standards, and levels at the sub-project level, with input from stakeholders
o Implements established quality management methods, techniques, and tools
o Ensures that all external dependencies are managed
o Uses established key performance indicators to monitor program outcomes and sub-project controls
o Ensures that appropriate allowances are included in project budgets and forecasts as well as align with project lifecycle stage/maturity, risks, and complexities
o Manages sign-off process and obtains all approvals required for programs and projects under their control
o Leading the team in the formulation and execution of recovery actions when necessary to meet commitments. This will include obtaining the commitment of the various function discipline leaders to ensure the overall recovery of the program and any impacted sub-projects

Communications
o Maintains excellent written and verbal communications with customers, employee, supervisors, and managers
o Keeps Management informed of requirements, business drivers, decisions, etc. of the operational group to consider these in planning overall Program strategies
o Keeps Sponsor updated on the status of projects, allocation of resources, conflicts, and customer needs
o Facilitates exchange of ideas and application of best practices
o Fosters and environment where staff project team resources in an open, honest, and positive manner

• 7 or more years of hands-on project management responsibility, demonstrating leadership skills and managing technical staff and financial resources through various life-cycle phases and within cross-functional environments

• 7 or more years of hands-on management experience in which MORE THAN HALF of the following has occurred:
o Successful development and implementation of applications in new computing architecture / test environments using new and emerging technologies
o Demonstrated competency in managing resources to meet project and program goals
o Successfully implemented new work processes or process improvements
o Knowledge and experience in test and lab environments
o Knowledge and experience dealing with system integration and test efforts
o Experience in process engineering / re-engineering and deployment, and project management life cycles related to implementing new or re-engineered processes

• 5 or more years of hands-on agile, scrum, kanban, lean, kaizen and/or SaFE/release train experience with proven track record for identifying challenges and implementing positive change with buy-in and collaboration from the organization

• Ability to be seen as an "agent of change"

• Maintains the project schedules, track, and monitor the progress of each program components
