We are looking for seasoned project manager handling a complex and large Salesforce transformation IT project (salesforce projects) and having McKesson experience is added advantage, plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of the project. Their responsibilities span across leadership, communication, planning, risk management, and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Job Duties -

Their responsibilities span across leadership, communication, planning, risk management, and coordination with multiple stakeholders. Will lead a complex and large Salesforce transformation IT project (salesforce projects).

Job Requirements -

1. Project Planning and Scope Definition
Scope Management: Define and document the project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Roadmap Creation: Develop a detailed project roadmap that includes major milestones, timelines, and deliverables for each phase of the Salesforce transformation.
Project Plan Development: Create a comprehensive project plan that outlines tasks, responsibilities, resource allocation, and timelines.
Risks & Issues: Identify Risks and prevent them from getting into Issues
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and able to convey/articulate project status to all the stakeholders

2. Stakeholder Management
Engagement and Communication: Project Manager will interact with various business leads in PSaS, PO, vendors, Integration teams (MuleSoft, SAP/ Vistex ) and act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including.
Expectations Management: Clearly communicate project goals, timelines, and deliverables to stakeholders. Ensure alignment of expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Business Transformation Alignment: Work closely with business leaders to ensure the Salesforce transformation aligns with broader business transformation goals and strategies.

3. Risk and Issue Management
Risk Identification: Identify potential risks (e.g., technical, operational, and regulatory risks) that may impact the success of the project.
Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of identified risks.
Issue Resolution: Proactively address issues that arise during the project lifecycle and facilitate resolution to avoid delays.

4. Quality Assurance and Performance Monitoring
Quality Control: Establish quality control processes to ensure that all project deliverables meet the required standards and Salesforce best practices.
Testing and Validation: Oversee the development of test cases, system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and performance testing to ensure the Salesforce solution functions as expected.
Post-implementation Support: Ensure that post-go-live support plans and processes are in place for ongoing system maintenance and optimization.

5. Communication and Reporting
Status Reporting: Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and executives, including progress reports, budget status, risk assessments, and upcoming milestones.
Executive Communication: Present key project insights, challenges, and successes to the steering committee and senior leadership for decision-making and strategic alignment.
Escalation Management: Handle escalations quickly and effectively by bringing attention to key risks or issues that require stakeholder intervention.

6. Governance and Compliance
Project Governance: Establish and manage governance frameworks that define project decision-making authority, policies, and procedures.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the Salesforce solution adheres to any applicable regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOX, HIPAA) and internal organizational compliance standards.
Audit Readiness: Prepare the project for internal or external audits by maintaining clear documentation and reporting mechanisms.

7. Post-Implementation and Continuous Improvement
Post-Go-Live Support: Ensure smooth transition from the project team to operations and support teams after the go-live phase. Exposure to CI/CD within Salesforce and also follow SOX process for pre go-live
Continuous Optimization: Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives by collecting feedback from users and working on iterative enhancements to the Salesforce system.
Success Metrics Evaluation: Measure project success by evaluating KPIs such as user adoption rates, performance improvements, and overall business impact.

8. Tools
JIRA, Smartsheet, Microsoft project plan and other MS tools

9. Agile/Hybrid Methodology Management
Agile Project Execution: If the project follows Agile or a hybrid methodology, manage sprints, backlogs, and regular retrospectives to ensure adaptive and iterative development.
Continuous Delivery: Ensure continuous delivery and integration processes are in place to deploy Salesforce solutions incrementally and quickly.

Desired Skills & Experience -

Experience implementing a large, complex Salesforce experience is a plus
Prior McKesson experience is an added advantage
