Responsibilities
- Lead project teams, ensuring deliverables are met within cost, schedule, and scope commitments.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and interdependencies.
- Provide leadership and guidance for effective mitigation strategies and conflict resolution.
- Maintain regular communication with executive sponsors and stakeholders, providing transparency on project status and health.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, work plans, and deliverables in adherence to enterprise PMO methodologies.
- Ensure project costs are controlled and accurately forecasted, reporting variances against the budget.
- Establish appropriate governance functions and lead the development of project approaches and major deliverables.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-12 years of Project Management experience in a large multi-unit organization.
- Strong leadership and direction skills for project teams.
- Excellent risk and issue management capabilities.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with executive sponsors and stakeholders.
- Experience in maintaining project documentation and adherence to PMO methodologies.
- Strong financial management skills for project cost control and forecasting.
Preferred Skills
- Master's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, SAFE, CSM).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of empathy and adaptability to interact with various temperaments and personalities.
- Advanced project management skills in complex IT and business environments.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, global implementations.
