About the team and the role: The eBay Collectibles team is the Collectibles marketplace in the world, selling to millions globally. Our mission is to be the most loved destination for collectors of trading cards, memorabilia, toys, comics, coins, and more. We innovate tirelessly to optimize experiences for our collectors, prioritizing their needs. The team is seeking Sr./Jr. Program Managers to lead critical initiatives within the US Collectibles portfolio. These roles focus on driving the evolution and expansion of our offerings, including the introduction, launch, and management of services, features, and functionalities tied to Collectibles. Reporting to leadership, these roles will engage with a passionate community of enthusiasts and contribute to a vibrant marketplace.
What you will accomplish: - Develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive growth in the US Collectibles portfolio, fostering the ongoing evolution of eBay's offerings.
- Spearhead the launch of new capabilities and businesses by leveraging insights to identify impactful features and services for collectors.
- Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and timely delivery of projects to meet strategic objectives.
- Facilitate data-backed decision-making by delivering analysis and presentations to secure stakeholder buy-in and approvals.
- Share program insights and performance metrics during strategic business cadences such as weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews.
- Collaborate effectively across internal and external partners to harness collective strengths, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
What you will bring: - 4-7+ years of relevant experience in program management, strategy & operations, management consulting, or related roles within e-commerce, retail, consumer goods, or consumer tech.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, with preference for candidates who possess an MBA or similar graduate degree.
- High-level proficiency in Google Slides/MS PowerPoint, and Google Sheets/MS Excel, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in program/project management, including familiarity with tools like MS Project and Smartsheet.
- Ability to travel for industry events and to eBay offices, as needed (around 4 times per year).
- A personal passion for collectibles or experience within a 2-sided marketplace, with added proficiency in SQL coding and data warehouse expertise.
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$101,200 - $174,100 Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
