Sr. Product Quality Coordinator for AppScan Product (Bangalore or Remote India )
The HCL Software AppScan team is seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Quality Coordinator to be instrumental in maintaining our commitment to high quality across our diverse range of AppScan products, core technologies, and services. This role will require close collaboration with all product QA leads and managers across multiple teams within our globally distributed organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the tracking and monitoring of quality assurance activities across all AppScan product teams, ensuring adherence to established standards and processes.
- Establish, maintain, and report on the comprehensive quality status of all AppScan products, providing clear visibility to stakeholders.
- Expertly identify and meticulously track quality dependencies between various AppScan sub-systems, proactively mitigating potential risks.
- Effectively facilitate communication and collaboration between interdependent product development teams, ensuring seamless information flow and issue resolution.
- Collaborate closely with product teams to define, implement, and ensure adherence to stringent quality standards, actively contributing to the definition of quality goals and best practices.
- Actively track, analyze, and utilize quality feedback originating from the field through Level 2 and Level 3 support teams, as well as other customer-facing channels, to drive continuous product quality improvements.
- Participate in functional design workshops and similar forums to proactively integrate quality considerations early in the development lifecycle, influencing design decisions to enhance product quality.
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of new quality assurance processes and best practices across multiple product teams, demonstrating a proven ability to enhance product quality through process improvement.
- Work with technical teams to identify and track quality dependencies between sub-systems, contributing to a holistic understanding of product quality.
Required Experience:
- Substantial experience in leading or managing quality testing and assurance teams and activities, demonstrating a strong track record in quality leadership.
- Proven experience in working with multiple software products and teams simultaneously, preferably in a product development environment.
- Demonstrable experience in defining and implementing quality assurance processes and best practices across multiple product teams.
- Significant experience working in an international, globally distributed environment, navigating the complexities of cross-cultural and geographically dispersed teams.
- Active participation in customer-related or customer-facing activities, with a clear understanding of how to incorporate customer feedback into the quality assurance process.
- Proven experience in software quality assurance or product quality coordination, specifically within software product development.
- Strongly preferred experience working in an Agile or Scrum development environment.
- Familiarity with common software testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, etc.) and bug tracking systems is essential.

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives.
- Experience in setting quality standards and goals within a software development environment, with a clear methodology for establishing these standards.
- Proven ability to facilitate communication between interdependent teams to resolve quality issues, gaps, or share best practices in a globally distributed setting.
