Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Development & Optimization: Design, develop, and optimize semiconductor fabrication processes to enhance performance, yield, and reliability.
- Equipment & Materials Evaluation: Work with vendors and internal teams to select and qualify new process equipment, materials, and tools.
- Yield & Defect Analysis: Identify root causes of process deviations and implement corrective actions to improve yield and reduce defects.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies to drive process efficiencies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Production, and Quality teams to introduce new technologies and improve existing manufacturing processes.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed process documentation, ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, SEMI, etc.), and support audits as needed.
Profile
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor process engineering, preferably in front-end or back-end fabrication.
- Expertise in lithography, etching, deposition (CVD, PVD), CMP, diffusion, or packaging.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in DOE (Design of Experiments), SPC, and FMEA.
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor fabrication equipment and process monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of semiconductor physics, device fabrication, and cleanroom protocols.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.
