Fleet Readiness team is seeking a Senior Program Manager who will be responsible for owning the end-to-end process for VORR (Vehicle Operational Readiness Rate) for Canada. This role will focus on partnering with cross-functional teams to drive improvement in vehicle uptime as well as scaling repairs workstream supporting our organization's current and future fleet initiatives. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for testing, piloting, rolling out, and managing fleet services for Canadian Delivery Service Partners (DSP). Further innovative solutions that improve the uptime of our vehicles will be researched, developed, and deployed by this individual.
At Amazon, we are building a Last Mile Operation that is complemented by Delivery Service Partners (DSP). The Last Mile team is hiring a Senior Program Manager for Canada to own the vehicle uptime cycle.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day deliverables for vehicle uptime for fleet in Canada
- Own vehicle readiness from a program management perspective
- Create and execute forecasts for vehicle uptime
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders on their deliverables that impact vehicle operational readiness rate
- Deploy and manage repair solutions and other programs across Canada
- Roll out and manage creative solutions for vehicle maintenance focused on aging fleet
- Monitor key quality metrics, define and implement initiatives to drive fleet repairs and process improvements
- Work within time constraints and deliver results to meet critical business needs
- Present results (verbally and in writing) in regular Business Review meetings to key stakeholders and senior leadership
Minimum qualifications include:
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree
- Intermediate+ Excel skills for building forecasts and data analysis
Preferred qualifications include:
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field
