Position Summary
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Senior Operations Manager / Site Leader to lead our flagship Cherry Valley (CV) facility. This role is critical for overseeing the end-to-end operations of a rapidly scaling 3PL-managed warehouse, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting future expansions into adjacent functions such as return processing, receiving, cross-dock, and main category warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will ensure alignment with SHEIN's core goals across safety, quality, service, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- 3PL Partnership Management
- Develop strong, trust-based relationships with 3PL providers to ensure alignment on performance goals related to safety, quality, service level agreements (SLA), and throughput.
- Standard Work Development
- Lead the creation, deployment, and auditing of standard work and training programs to ensure consistent execution aligned with strategic objectives.
- Performance Monitoring & Issue Resolution
- Continuously monitor site performance, identify root causes of system or process inefficiencies, and drive timely resolution and prioritization of corrective actions.
- Cross-Functional Strategic Coordination
- Collaborate with key teams to maintain a reliable and scalable operation:
- Engineering: Layout design, process reengineering, and automation rollout.
- Product: Feature enhancement requests and deployment planning.
- S&OP: Inbound and outbound flow planning and synchronization.
- Capacity Planning: Storage optimization and capacity expansion.
- Performance: KPI alignment, benchmarking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Expansion Project Leadership
- Lead the planning, launch, and ramp-up of future functions in Building A, such as:
- Return Center
- Receiving and Cross-Dock Facility
- Category Main Warehouse
- Continuous Improvement (CI) Leadership
- Drive CI initiatives across the site and broader 3PL network by standardizing best practices, leading root cause analyses, and implementing sustainable solutions to reduce defects and improve SLA adherence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in warehouse operations or supply chain leadership, including experience with 3PL management.
- Proven track record in launching or scaling complex fulfillment operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to driving results.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience in return processing, cross-dock operations, or inbound flow management is a plus.
- Mandarin language proficiency is a strong plus, as frequent collaboration with China-based teams is required.
